Coming together as a team, let's take a moment to pause (10 secs), and let's begin with a quote from...
1 John 3:1- "See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are..."
And from...
Pope John XXIII- "The family is the first essential cell of human society."
These quotes show the value of Accessibility. Accessibility is a great way to live Dignity, making it real in our lives today! So, as we reflect today, let's refresh our memories on the meaning of Dignity, and take a closer look at how Accessibility brings it to life.
Dignity
Dignity means, Respect for the worth of every person, recognition and commitment to the value of diverse individuals and perspectives, and special concerns for the poor and underserved.
We know there are many ways to live Dignity; so let's focus on just one, Accessibility.
Accessible
Provide care that is equitable, convenient, affordable, and delivered in the appropriate setting.
So, let's ask ourselves this question...
Do I create a welcoming environment that makes others feel like family? Pause 20 sec before moving on.
I'd like to invite us all to make Accessibility a reality in our lives today by...
Welcoming others with a friendly smile.
Accessibility isn't new to CHRISTUS Health, in fact, we see this same type of Compassion in our heritage...
