Dignity
Dignity means, Respect for the worth of every person, recognition and commitment to the value of diverse individuals and perspectives, and special concerns for the poor and underserved.
We know there are many ways to live Dignity; so let's focus on just one, being Personal.
Personal
Provide care that is collaborative, respectful, and provides a positive CHRISTUS experience.

At Christus Southwest Louisiana, an associate is a wonderful example of giving our patients genuine care and empathy. She greets each person with a beautiful smile, listens to their stories and offers loving and kind feedback. One of our beloved patients even brought her a birthday gift after visiting a place they once spoke about together.
Holy Spirit, Help me know a little more about the person I am with by listening to their story. I know you have lived that story with them and each one is sacred. I choose to accept each person as they are and care for them with love. Amen.
